In this week’s double lesson we had the problem of now having a long enough introduction so we decided to go into further depth so we could extend our understanding of the issue of air pollution. We added some more detail on what the issue was and how it is affecting our world.

To make sure we had an understanding of actually how much pollution is in our air, we decided to make a tally of how many cars passed on Northcote Terrace in five minutes. We found that 110 cars pasted in five minutes, meaning 2,200 cars pasted per hour and a huge 52,800 cars would past per day on average. This helped us realize that so much pollution is let into the air by us just using transport to go places.

With finding this new information we had a lot more to add to the introduction.
